David Perlman is Managing Director of Originations and Capital Markets at Bravo Capital and Bravo Property Trust. He brings over 20 years of real estate experience and has participated in more than $12 billion in debt and equity transactions across the United States. His background spans loan originations, equity investing, capital markets, credit, syndication, and private equity.
Before joining Bravo Capital, David ran the New York office of Thorofare Capital, a California-based real estate debt fund, where he focused on originations and capital markets and supported the growth of the business to nearly $1 billion in annual originations.
Prior to that, he co-managed the Floating Rate Balance Sheet Desk at Natixis, where he worked on loans across the risk spectrum, from stabilized Class A assets to construction loans in strong secondary markets, with deal sizes up to $2 billion. He also led syndication efforts, placing approximately $1 billion to $2 billion of notes annually with market participants.
Earlier in his career, David spent seven years at Brickman, a real estate private equity firm, where he closed high yield debt and equity transactions throughout the country. He acquired and asset managed a wide range of property types, including office, hotel, multifamily, and retail assets, and was responsible for both acquisitions and dispositions. During the global financial crisis, he sourced and worked out numerous note sale opportunities and originated subordinate debt as market dynamics shifted.
David began his career at Citigroup Property Investors on the high yield debt team, investing in the B pieces of CMBS transactions, and at Fitch Ratings, where he rated commercial mortgage-backed securities.
He is an active member of the Urban Land Institute and currently serves as Vice Chair of CRC Silver, ULI’s retail-focused product council.
David earned his Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with honors from Washington University in Saint Louis, with majors in finance, history, accounting, and marketing

Mr. Patterson specialized in multifamily projects including market rate, income restricted, Section 8, and projects receiving new Low Income Housing Tax Credits.
